Life is working out surprisingly well. Hopefully, I don't jinx myself with that. I have officially made it off probation at work. Sales are decent. I can't complain. I like my job, Brad likes his, who could ask for more? We are continuing to save and purchase household items that are making our place a home. We have had several family visits since moving in and the general consensus is that people feel like this is a home, even though the majority of it is empty at the moment.
Chessie loves the place, especially the porch. He will join me for hours out there while I enjoy a cup of coffee, read a book, or just watch a storm rolling in.
As for me, I am proud to say that since I started back to work I have dropped more than 20lbs. I have not dieted or worked out. Just being active again, and not sitting around has made a huge difference. However, the time has come that I need to work out. I am going to start by working out at home. I do not want to get a gym membership unless I am going to actually use it. I have used Billy Blanks in the past, but I want to try Jillian Michaels' workout dvd's that she recently released. I tried the free airing on OnDemand and it kicked my rear. I want to be in shape for the holidays. I don't think that I will have trouble with that because I have already lost some much, but I want to be toned and sexy again.
