The Day is Almost Here.......

I am getting married a week from Sunday.

Where has the last year and five months gone?

All of the details are coming together. I really hoped they'd be done by now, but I'm prepared.

I am getting through those details with perseverence. I am getting through them with the help of Brad, my parents, and the rest of my family.

When I returned home from Florida and picking up my wedding dress and veil, Brad was there to pick me up. We went to see a movie with my parents and while waiting for the show to start we took in some competitive nascar racing. I beat him once and he beat me once. It was fun laughing at each other as we won and lost. This is one of the many reasons I am marrying him on the 7th of August.

Laughter is essential in my book for a healthy and happy marriage.

I am hitting the road Saturday afternoon to head up to Indian River for a week of wedding prep and relaxing. I need this week up north. I have not spent this much time up north in forever. I have been hankering for it for months. Next year I hope that we get to spend more time up there. We shall see though. House buying may put a cramp in that.

I have enjoyed this summer in so many ways. I can't wait for fall though and after the wedding I shall be breaking out all those fall motif pieces I've been itching for since we moved back from Florida.
