New Place and Moving Timetables...

So yesterday, Brad and I received a surprise day off together. It was really nice to spend the whole day together. We went and picked out our new living room furniture from my store. I was nervous he wouldn't like the sofa because it is chocolate brown, but it will be beautiful in the new place. We have to wait for it to come in stock so we are ordering it on Friday next week for delivery at the end of August, but it will be stuff that will not fall apart on us when we go to move into the house that we are planning to buy in the next couple of years.
We are purposely waiting on the house because of developments at Brad's terminal that may move them all to Winter Haven in the next few years. He will still have a job, it will be a matter of where he ends up being stationed.
Also on our day off, we went to talk to our lease consultant Millie and she informed us that because they have something like 25 people moving in on Monday like us, that we could pick up the keys possibly today. If that is the case, we will start moving in there tonight. We're gonna sleep at our hotel until Saturday morning and the move out completely.
The day was fun, we bought the new tv we had been talking about for a while. It is beautiful. We are such tv people. We pulled it out and were playing with it last night and tomorrow we have to pack it back up to move it.
Weather was also fun last night when the sea breeze collided right over the hotel. A tornado, small one, hit across the street. We didn't find out till an hour later. This morning at 5am, the helicopters were hovering and making racket that woke me up. I was amused by this until I realized that it was 6am, my day off and I was tired. Grumpiness has since taken over slightly.
Well I have put off laundry and packing long enough. Time to be an adult...
