Today, a little girl's dream came true...

The man she had fallen in-love with nearly seven years ago, proposed.

March 15, 2010, a Monday, and my typical day off, Brad planned a special trip to the beach on the Atlantic coast. I was excited to get to spend the day away from cleaning the house, grocery shopping, and the other stuff I normally do on Mondays while he's at work. We drove out to the beach and the weather was absolutely perfect! Not to hot, maybe a hint of chill because of the wind, but brilliant blue skies laced with feathery white cloudes. The tide was in the process of going and I was admiring shells. I wanted to take pictures of us, as Brad had requested I wear a dress that I'd bought originally for Easter. He was taking my picture and asked me to figure out how to upload it to Facebook. Well, while I was distracted trying to set up his phone to load the picture, he had pulled out a ring box, and got down on one knee. He said something sweet (which at this point neither of us remembers?) and the asked "Will you marry me?" I, obviously, said yes! I shall give more details in time, but right now I want to savor the moment. I get to go with my fiance, that is so weird to write, up to Michigan to help his parents move to their new home and search for a place we want to get married at in the northern part of the mitten.
