Thankful Thursday

Today, I decided I would update all of my social networking profiles. Through this process I have discovered I am behind in all the techy stuff I used to be somewhat decent at navigating. Oh well, trial and error will work just fine for me, but if any of my lovely friends and family want to point me in a different direction I will gladly accept the helping hand.

I am so lucky in my life and the people in it.

Earlier today, whilst bored at work, I thought about how funny it is that my life changed so completely at my best friend's graduation party nearly seven years ago. I remember being so excited to be socializing with old friends after a long absense and seeing Brad walk into the party. He stole my shoes with the help of my cousin Kevin and he never looked back. I gave him my number on this orange napkin. It was the first time I had ever given out my phone number that way. Usually, I would wait until I knew the person really well before giving it out, but with Brad, I didn't hesitate even though I only knew him through other people. Seven years later, I think back on how it was the best impulsive decision I have ever made.
