If you know me and Brad, you know we love a good race. On pavement, dirt, or in the air, we love it. This year, now that we are back close to many tracks with various surfaces, lengths, and cars racing, we are going to as many as we can. We live very close to Toledo Speedway where they hold races on pavement. It is a small track, but we've been there twice now and both times there was great racing.
This season for most of the smaller series that race in the area have been hit hard by all the rain. The ground is totally saturated. The dirt tracks in the area have held only a handful of races because of the rain. Hopefully May is a little kinder to the track owners, the drivers, and the people who rely on the tracks to make money.
Brad invited his father down and we enjoyed the moment greatly. Here are a few pictures documenting the fun...
My winning car! We pick a car to follow and my car won of course.
These kids were adorable and were very enthusiastic about the race.
Beautiful pace car.
